“Creativity is always at the service of the consciousness of the creator. The artist that works at the ad agency is at the service of their client. If their client sells cigarettes or whiskey, the artist might be a non-smoker or recovering alcoholic but still create ads at the service of their client. The more compromised the agenda of the creator, the more discolored is the worldview of those creations. To be of creative service to a higher power is to marry the enterprise of creativity and spirituality. The union of these two impulses is at the foundation of service to the Greater Creator, the Divine Artist that we all reflect.
There is One consciousness — God consciousness more or less awake to its identity. When an artist comes into alignment with the primal creative force, they are moved toward expressions of depth and authenticity, and their works are in service to the Great Creation.”

Rainbow Serpent Being - By Alex Grey
“Rainbow Serpent Being,” the most recent artwork by Alex Grey, was painted while on tour in four Australian cities. The theme honors the annual gathering that has brought together “Love Tribe” Aussies for the last thirteen years. The Rainbow Serpent Festival is held each year in Victoria, Australia on the weekend prior to Australia Day. The serpent of Aboriginal legend is of immense proportions, originates from beneath the ground and is responsible for pushing up huge ridges, mountains, gorges, and meandering snake-like waterways across the landscape. Resting in deep permanent waterholes, the mythic Rainbow Serpent, is symbolic of the creative force.”

Our loved ones, our communities,
Our state and our Nation.
Protect Humanity and guide us all
Toward harmony with each other
And the web of Life.
May we each be a blessing
To the world now and in the year to come.
May your boundless creative force
Work through us to inspire and uplift
Our brothers and sisters,
Creating a holy zone of peace, and kindness
In all our relations.
May the creatures of the world
Live in balance with a healing environment.
May radical breakthroughs in
Compassionate relief for the suffering
