So here are people without electronic microscopes who choose, among some 80,000 Amazonian plant species, the leaves of a bush containing a hallucinogenic brain hormone, which they combine with a vine containing substances that inactivate an enzyme, which would otherwise block the hallucinogenic effect. And they do this to modify their consciousness…

Flashbacks to Hyperspace

Beyond form, beyond void, the shapeless purity of being takes hold as “I” fall away and am thrust headlong into the bardo.. The full and total expanse of Everything that ever was, has been or ever will be.. The eternal perfection of never ending radiance and bliss of creation… Our beginning and our end… In short..
Love.

Galactivation →

I wanted to share this podcast with you all, as it is one of the best things I’ve listened to in quite a while. An incredible, mind blowing journey through what is happening in our current times with two beautiful psychedelic souls. Well worth a listen for any psychonaut!

“Experiential journalist Rak Razam interviews Dan Schreiber, Australia’s answer to Terence McKenna, a grand intellectual thinker and the founder of Starseed Gardens in the Byron Bay Shire. In this epic, far-reaching conversation Schreiber explores the heart-mind-pineal relationship of consciousness and shares his experiences learning from tribal peoples across the globe.

What is the entheogenic connection between the Amazon and the Outback, ayahuasca cosmovision and the Dreamtime at the End of Time? Learn the secrets of the Australian cane toad–and its DMT/ bufotenine secretions–as Schreiber explains its role as an activator for the tryptamine-acacia fields across Australia. How does the devic world under the surface of nature itself fuel the current flowering of planetary consciousness? Schreiber describes the cascading role of entheogens shaping planetary culture to the tipping point we are now living through, and the whole-systems theory of Gaian “galactivation” as we remember our personal and collective awakening… This conversation is itself a catalyst and a turning point for moving forward: A highly recommended, lengthy dialogue that links up many existing theories into a collective whole to guide us deeper into the new paradigm…”

DMT: Did I See Fractals?

Someone recently replied to my DMT experience asking whether I saw fractals… I wanted to go into what I saw a bit further for them..and you..

As I took the third toke there was a piercing sound deep within the recesses of my skull, not unpleasant, an almost cracking sound, it was jarring, but didn’t hurt me at all. It was as though it came from inside myself, or inside of everything. To me it seemed as though it was the sound of the entire universe opening up and revealing itself..

I kept my eyes open at first as I wanted to see what would happen, but it turned out that didn’t matter.

With my eyes open, the world in front of me was transformed into some kind of hyperspatial dimension, my friends, the trees, the ground, the sky all wavered slightly at first and then revealed themselves as infinitely intertwined particles of energy, buzzing at the highest vibrational frequency I had ever seen. Everything was moving, yet in synch with everything else. Fractals were indeed a part of it, and for a while my entire field of vision, of everything around me, was made up of intricate sacred geometry.

With eyes closed the same visions remained briefly, but then i was overcome with an incredibly luminous light of indescribable colour. Like the purest of ultraviolet rays encompassing everything…

I wanted to stay in that place for longer but the experience caught me off guard, and trying to stand up while navigating that space was all too impossible, so I had to open my eyes again..

It was all far too short lived, but I hope I’ve been able to at least describe some of what I saw that night!

DMT: First Contact

The strangest and often most profound things seem to happen when you least expect them.. I didn’t expect my life to change this night, but this is the story of how it did…

Standing in the middle of the forest, swaying side to side whilst “swimming” through the air to pounding Psytrance, I looked up at the stars through the treeline, watching as they danced playfully along with my own imagination. What a perfect moment…Nature, psytrance, psychedelics, beautiful people, peace…

We were at what we Australians call a “bush doof” a psytrance party, in beautiful forest surroundings, far enough away from civilization that there would be no noise complaints, just three or four hundred happy peace loving souls communing with nature and themselves.

I was already tripping courtesy of some lsd earlier, when my friend A turns around to face me with a grin on the mud dancefloor.

He mouthed three fateful letters that I hadn’t expected to hear this night, three letters that had captivated and enthralled me for the better part of ten years..

D - M - T

He was holding what looked like a joint in his hand, and I was instantly excited. I watched on eagerly to see how it would affect him before it got to me.

He seemed a bit dazed after a few hits and passed it to someone else, and then eventually they passed it to me.

Even holding it in my hands I felt a tremendous power, as though I could feel something huge was about to happen.

I drew back on it once, and held it in as long as i could.. I could feel it already starting as i exhaled but quickly took another massive hit and held it in. One more, I thought to myself, I’ve waited this long, theres no point not going all the way

As I breathed out my third toke, my whole being was filled with energy, and an overwhelmingly powerful force that almost caused me to take a stumble backwards. It was so incredibly fast…It was all I could do to motion for A to quickly take the joint from my hands.

I felt so, so overwhelmed, like i was receiving some kind of pure universal consciousness within and through myself. As though I had just taken in the source of all creation and that which I was in fact a part of and always had been.

Sound had taken on an altogether different and wavy tone, everything was almost as though I was underwater, everything floated in harmony and eyes open or closed I seemed to see the same things.

There was such a distinct feeling of deja vu, or that I already knew about this place, that we ALL already knew about this. I lost all track of time, all track of who “I” was, and definitely all track of being at a party in the middle of the forest…

As quickly as it began, things started to return to “normal”. Normal being my still tripping state, but nowhere near what I had just experienced.

I looked around and realised I had indeed drifted backwards away from my friends. They looked at me from up the front, huge grins on their faces, I could tell they had been watching me the whole time, while i was oblivious.

“Did you just get back man!?” T asked me..
“Hah..yeah..some..something like that” I managed to get out.

For the next few hours or so I was completely and utterly consumed by what had just occurred. I couldn’t remember everything that happened as it all came on so incredibly fast. I wished i could have bought more back with me, and I wished i could have been sitting down next time…

That experience left me humbled, in a way only an intense and beautiful psychedelic experience can. It showed me how trivial parts of our lives and existence are, and that indeed there is much much more to reality than most wish to perceive…

I can’t wait to explore that realm further, but at the same time I’m in no hurry and feel like its something that just happens when it is meant to happen… I know next time I will definitely be sitting down…

Thankyou DMT

The Success That Is DMT: The Spirit Molecule

It was with a slight amount of trepidation that I waited outside the majestic Tribal theatre, eager anticipation coursing its way through my body. I could feel the excited energy all around, people smiling, laughing and chatting idly as the tribe gathered outside what was once known as The Lycaeum. A profoundly fitting place for such an occasion…

Having first read DMT: The Spirit Molecule nearly 10 years ago, and having been absorbed by psychedelic research and culture ever since, this was something I had always hoped would happen. To even see the words DMT or Spirit Molecule on a billboard seemed another world away all those years ago.

Now, here I was, about to enter a fascinating journey that may just help propel the sanctity and wonder of these sacred entheogens into mainstream consciousness.

The introduction by Mitch Schultz and Rak Razam was brief, as they wanted the films to speak for themselves, something that both Aya and The Spirit Molecule certainly achieved.

After sitting through Rak Razams short, yet brilliantly put together mini-documentary Aya, I was fully prepared to enter the DMT screen space.

What followed, was a captivating and insightful look into the research of Dr Strassman, complete with psychedelic visual representations of volunteers trips that illuminated the screen with a variety of fractal otherworldly iridescence.

For myself, it wasn’t the visuals that really arrested my attention however, it was seeing these volunteers present their stories and the complete and utter positivity that shone through the whole experience.

Each one of them had experienced a piercing of the veil of reality to some degree, and each in different ways, yet they all shared this same exuberance, this overlapping and overarching appreciation of their experiences.

It was incredibly touching to see DMT presented in such a way that anyone who watched it, no matter their psychedelic knowledge, would have to ask the question as to why and how consciousness exploration that has been integral to humanity since the dawn of time was ever demonised.

As somewhat of a seasoned explorer, who had read the book, and was knowledgeable about DMT in general, there wasn’t perhaps all that much new information to gleam as for someone who came into it knowing very little. That, in my opinion is one of its greatest strengths however. There is no pre-requisite knowledge required, only that of an open mind.

Its success, and the greatest success of Mitch Schultz and everyone involved in this film, is that it may just have the ability to push its way into some part of the universal mainstream consciousness.

As a strong proponent of the psychedelic experience, I am happy to have DMT: The Spirit Molecule standing at the forefront of the psychedelic revolution, a guiding light perhaps for things to come.

Well done Mitch and co, you deserve the highest respect and praise for what you are doing, and I eagerly await the next installment.
